He is currently enrolled in a PhD program where he is conducting research focused on the soft skills needed for sales engineers. Mary Carter is an experienced sales engineering leader, someone who helps the sales team close deals by demystifying the technical side of things. She currently combines technical expertise with sales savvy as the Global Solutions Engineering Manager at GoCardless, a global leader in bank payments that serves over 80,000 businesses worldwide. Mary has led software implementations for Fortune 500 companies, startups, and large organizations to improve their internal processes and increase productivity. When sheâs not working with clients she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and writing.
